I know your not using 6.0c right now but could you post a bug list to the way you work?

What plugins or virtual instruments messed up your session. A step by step repro.

Any crashes when using acids gui? [ie:I clicked on this/this/then that and it crashed?]

What kind of stuff do you do? What plugins do you mainly use in your projects?

Ed.

I know this is not going to help you out; but on my side I had zero issues (or not more issues than in 6.0b) with this last update...

And trust me I'm always overloading Acid untill it begs me to stop (e.g. Acid rewired to Giga3 & Reason, plus several VSTi, and UAD plugins, and so on).

Yet if you could just tell us how it crashed, with some chance we can figure it out.

Hey djrave808

You can use your FTP program and go to ftp://download.sonypictures.com/current/
No password needed and every program created by Sonic Foundry / Sony seems to be there.
When I tried Acid Pro 6.0c, half my midi tracks were off pitch. Realizing this was another buggy version like the infamous version 6.0, I did a system restore back to v6.0b.

Can you provide some details on this problem?

Are you aware that ACID 6.0c introduced/fixed the problem with MIDI files/clips/tracks not handing Key correctly? Perhaps with the fix for MIDI key handling, the clips you are using need to be adjusted?

MIDI tracks now correctly follow the project key as in ACID 4/5. If you do not want a MIDI Clip to follow the project key, you can set the clips key from the Track's Clip tab. Right click on the clip, and set the Key to none.

Sorry, I wasn't clear enough.

Double click on the track header or right click on the track header and select "Properties".

This will open the Track Properites view.

On this view there is a tab labled "Clip Pool". Select this.

From there you can right click on the clip and set its key.

when you say track header you mean the clip?

No, I meant the track header. This is the part of the track that has the name, volume slider, etc. .

To show a Track's properites view you can do one of the following

- From the View menu, select Track Properties or press Alt+6
- There is an icon that indicates the track number. Double click on it.
- RIght click on the track header and select properties.
