What are the advantages of using track buffering? The annoying thing about enabling track buffering, is the delayed GUI on track-inserted plugins. Especially a problem with meters, spectrum analyzers etc. Bo |

Bo, The advantages of track buffering: 1) Projects are less likely to gap at low latancies. 2) Track buffering allows acid to take full advantage of multi-processor/core systems. The 0.25 second default buffering amount may be a little too conservative for your needs. Try cranking the buffering amount down to the minimum and if that plays ok, I’ll bet your GUI meter issues are reduced significantly. - Matt Logan. |

Ok, thanks. I'll set it to a value where it's not noticeable. Bo |
