I created a new track and now I have some light blue line across the very bottom of the track containing some nonsense... "Timbale track 02" when I mouse over it. What the heck is this? Why is it there? And most important, how do I get rid of it. It is TOTALLY unintuitive what this is and how to get rid of it. Thanks, Rick |

Do Shift+F1, then mouse over the line and click. A balloon should appear. It should tell you what the line is. |

It's probably an envelope. Right click, and uncheck any envelope options (insert fx/vol/panning envelopes). If you want that "Timbale.." bit gone, then de-select "Show track information" from the "view" (I think - it's one of them at the top, at any rate) menu. |

Sounds like you have a Groove added to the track. Two ways to remove this: Method 1: - Right click on the track header (where the faders are) - Select "Remove groove from track" Method 2: On the toolbar, there is a button with a "swirl + erasor". Select this tool and drag over the entire length of the "light blue line" area of the track. Unintuitve? Perhaps, but some how it got added with out your doing it, so that bothers me a bit. You might want to refer to the ACID docs/help on Grooves as well to familarize yourself with this feature. Peter Message last edited on11/13/2006 7:49:09 AM bypwppch. |
