instal 6c as a demo, and other questions -ACID Product Family

I use a YAMAHA AW4416 as my main tracking and mixing platform and edit on the PC and construct arrangements and drums via loops on the PC. I am at present demoing ACID PRO 6, as it has the ability to sync to external timecode and record multitrack audio. This allows me to transfer my tracks to and from the PC via ADAT to the AW4416. I like the functionality of the the ACID PRO 6 , but its not anywhere even approaching stable on my system...BUT! ..........Music Studio 6 is! I am running a EMU 1212M card as my soundcard, and have read a lot of history on the board regards probs ACID had with EMU cards. Interestingly though, as I said Music Studio 6 runs fine.(As does things like Cubase SX on my system) Ok, question time...8) I am a week into my one month demo on ACID PRO 6 b.....can I download 6c and give it a try, to see if the crashes are fixed? Do I have to uninstal 6.0b to instal 6.0c , and if so can i re instal 6.0b and get my demo time back? I love the way ACID handles my drum loops, but the stability makes it virtually impossible to use atm. Remember AMS6 is fine... thanks in advance Wiz
