I'll try to work something out later, but the 3D controls in Vegas are lacking in the department of aligned 3D rotating, otherwise it would be a piece of cake. I will try something though, later.

Track motion with parent/child relations should get you a lot of what you saw motion-wise. Flash/Swishmax could do the moving/animated red line and then import swf file. As for the backgrounds- track motion- of course you would have to make yours or buy some.

If you are familiar with aftereffects, it would be a lot easier to do. Vegas CAN do it though.

I just realized this entire project was created in iMovie HD 6 as all those motion graphics are themes from within the software and required no motion work at all. Darn, sometimes I just wish I could run Apple software!

On that note, does anyone know where I could download the motion graphics used in this and other iMovie/iDVD themes?

Thanks //fixler

Wow I bet that guy wished he had a few more photos to work with... he pushed those few he had real hard. The music didn't seem to match the style of the video very well. It all seemed quite "canned." Also I felt the whole concept is a bit odd...what would you do with it? Mail DVDs? I'm sure the client paid a pretty penney for it.

This is either an ivideo template that you drag and drop a few pictures and text into or it is a project that someone did very well, but then force applied it to this reception job and it didn't sync very well.
