I have a tape player attached to line in, but can not get a record signal. I can record cd's okay. |

? How are you recording CDs? By simply extracting the audio in Sound Forge? The line in input on your audio interface should be unmuted and its sliders up. Check the software mixer. Iacobus |

It's not the play controls you need to check, it's the record controls. In the windows volume control, go to options - properties and select the recording radio button, check all of the boxes and click OK. Now you'll be able to see the line in slider and mute check box. |

I selected the record button & checked all boxs. I do hear the tape playing thru my computer speakers and I can record using MusicMatch JukeBox. I'm still confused. Thanks |
