Subject:Waves SSL plugins don't show

Just installed the Waves SSL 4000 plugins. They show up in my other DAW applications that support VST. They do not show up in AcidPro 6. When searching the posts, someone did list that this VST plugin was "functional". I did the usual un-install and re-install AcidPro to no avail. Any ideas?

Waves VST will not work in Sony apps.
Only DX FX!
Waves did this not Sony.
I use the SSL as DX in Acid 6,SF8 & CDA

What wrapper do you use?

Hello Tobias,

It's not a Wrapper that you have to use for Waves SSL. It's simply the DX version of it (no wrapper needed as Waves bundle their softwares with VST, Dx, and RTAS versions included).

Just make sure when installing these plugin, that the DirectX versions are ticked.

Ah ha! While I did not see a place to "tick" the DX plugin option, I did find a little registration utility tucked away in a folder. Once I ran it, the DirectX versions showed up. Thanks all!

BTW, I am already a fan of the Mixbuss Compressor in this package.
