Get a set of MIDI drum pads and some sticks! A drum roll is a very dynamic sequence of hits that vary in pressure from hand to hand. The best you can do with a mouse is paint 64th notes in the Piano Roll Editor. ~jr |

What version of acid are you using? You don't have your system specs listed. |

Click the MIDI Output button (little piano keyboad) on the track header and select MIDI Channel > 10 3. Draw an empty MIDI event out for a measure 4. Press the G key to Enable Inline MIDI editing (you might want to make the track full height) 5. Click the down-arrow on the Paint Tool in the tool bar and select 64th notes as the duration 6. Click the Paint Tool to activate it (your tool icon will turn from a pencil to a paint brush) 7. Find the note that is the drum you want to roll and paint the notes across the editor. You will get consistent 64th notes. ~jr Message last edited on10/27/2006 10:53:31 AM byJohnnyRoy. |
