How do you contruct MIDI with the available synth enclosed with Music Studio ver 6.0. Is it on a different view window? I can see the Loop contruction window fine in the chopper area, but is there something better to construct with, view wise? I know this is to insert MIDI into Loops. Is there something to create full length MIDI Tracks? Cakewalk Music Creator has there own window that pulls up, with the keyboard, etc. Does Acid have this? Having a hard time finding it! Thank you. |

I can't specifically help since I don't have Music Studio 6.0, but you might want to check out the full manual for Music Studio 6.0 starting on chapter 10, p. 173. Iacobus |

When you insert a MIDI track the track properties at the bottom left show the Piano Roll Editor. This is pretty much the same keyboard that Cakewalk has. It does not float in a window in ACID Music Studio. It stays in the docking are only. The best way is to use a real MIDI keyboard controller, press Ctrl+R to record, and play the MIDI parts into ACID as tracks just like you would in Cakewalk or any other MIDI sequencer but you can use the Piano Roll Editor and also Step Record in the List Editor to enter MIDI data. ~jr |
