Subject:Halion 3.1.0.947 sticking on save..

Howdy all,
I have just installed Halion 3.1.0.947. After writing a midi file & loading Halion, I save my project. The progress bar in the save dialog sticks on 40% & will stay there forever. If I push cancel, the word "saving" will change to "cancelled", then this will stay there forever.

Anyone ever had this prob with Halion or any other vst?

Thanks, Nathan

hi,

I've got this problems more frequently with another confirguration of my computer. Now with the last version of acid and my new computer more stronger, it's better. I think it's a problem of your RAM or your Hard Disk. Try to Defrag your Hard Disk, or Uninstall and Re-install your Asio drivers of your Sound Card.

about the sound card.... Which is your Sound Card ?

Bye

Richard

may be it's a problem between Acid & Your Sound card. I've got the sound card EMU 1820 M, drivers Asio are developped by the the people of Creatives Labs sounds card... i've got other troubles with the EMU 1820M, the better thing to do is to inform "EMU support" of your problems... in wainting for their corrections, because they always explain to me, that their product are optimised and good developped ! I only said to him to make some tests with Acid and contact the Acid developpers to optimise the compatibility between this 2 products.
Now i think i'm going to change my sound card, perhaps for an M-AUDIO...

Good luck, and don't hesitate to inform the EMU support, may be they are going to do something....

At the same time, we are wainting for new release of Acid resolving differents "bugs".

Bye

Richard
