i'm new to using acid and i'm using acid pro 6.0 . i have alot of harware gear and i use my korg electribes alot .the question is when i make a pattern on my electribe i can tweak my filters and knobs while the pattern is playing.how would i do that if i'm using a vst plugin in acid 6.0 do i record my playing of the vst into acid and then go back and tweak the panel of the vst while it is palyin in acid or would i use midi some how please explain |

You could simply record some MIDI (or insert a MIDI track and draw/paint some notes into an event), route the MIDI to a VSTi, then enable loop playback (Q is the shortcut) and play with the VSTi's parameters while the MIDI plays back over and over. Iacobus |

Hit the insert softsynth button next to the busses. Choose a softsynth. Then open a MIDI track (ctrl-alt-q). Set the MIDI input to your keyboard controller, and the MIDI output to the bus with the synth on it. Arm the track, hit record, play some stuff. Hit stop. Now you can route the MIDI track to whatever synth you like, and mess with it on the fly. |
