Audio Hiccups Bug in V7a + b

This morning I noticed an audio hiccup with Vegas 7, when playing back audio and resizing frames or zooming in and out of the time line there are dropouts in the audio play back. I thought I was going nuts so I tried Vegas 6 and there were no dropouts. I checked for updates and I had 7.0a so I upgraded to 7.0b and the problem was less apparent but still rears its head when zooming in and out very fast (and I assume other times that may be less noticeable), but deffinetly worst than V6.

Anybody else notice this problem?

Is this on a hit list of things to fix?

I'm not sure whether this is the same issue, but I'm having audio problems too. I kept rendering and re-rendering my project but my .mpg file still played only the first second of my song in DVD Architect. I noticed that I am only having audio trouble with playback in DVD Architect (preview) and playing an actual DVD after burning it with DVD architect. When I tried opening the same .mpg file with two diffferent programs, the sound was fine. So this could be a DVD Architect issue. However, I still don't have a solution.

Just hooked up my ProSonus Firepod and the problem doesn't seem to occur with this device, only my internal sound card. I can live with this.
