You can actually do a more accurate job of it in sound forge.. there is no automatic way to do it, but the results of doing it manually in soundforge imo are better. Here is a tutorial for achieveing this in Soundforge: http://forum.breakbeat.co.uk/tm.asp?m=1967473785 Once you have set your markers , you can either export to a program that will recognize the markers, like the fruity slicer in fl studio, or soundforge will let you export each slice as an individual wav file. If you want more instant gratification and have Acid (any version that has chopper), you can get similar results by using the chopper view and selecting segments and inserting them. |
