Subject:How do I add vocals to my track/song?

Will somebody please help me with adding vocals to my track. Everytime i record something using Music Studio 6 my recording/vocals are about a secind late after the music. The vocals never start at the same time the track starts. Will someone please help me in details so i can start making music.

To avoid latency, first check that your sound card can be used with ASIO drivers. You may need to upgrade your card.
