What do they mean by "Tighter integration and enhanced DAW Control" and what is your expectation of such a comment?

This hardware supports the Mackie HUI protocol. We do not provide support for this protocol, but the Mackie Control Universal protocol.

Developing native support for such devices would be an extreme effort. There would be little justification to our userbase as this is just not something our average user would have access to.

However, HUI protocol support is something we are looking at for a future version of ACID (and Vegas).
