-Solo the track (or tracks) you intend to bounce down into a Loop. -Set the Loop Region over the area you intend to bounce down into a Loop. -Press Ctrl+M; name your newly-rendered audio with the "render loop region only" option enabled; your bounced-down track will appear at the bottom of the track list, ready for you to paint or draw onto the timeline. Notes: -Make sure you mix as close to unity (0.0 dBFS) as possible before rendering. Worry about mixing the newly-rendered audio with the rest of your project after. -The newly-rendered audio will have an automatic volume cut applied at the track level when it's added to the track list. This is based on what the Preview fader is set at. If you set the newly-rendered track's volume to 0.0 dB, it should mimic the original track's volume before it was bounced. -If you're using ACID Pro, you might want to play with the stretch markers inherent in Loops. Just access the clip's properties and play with the markers (amongst other things) under the "stretch" tab. Playing with these markers can really help optimize a Loop when (and if) it stretches to other tempos. HTH, Iacobus |
