Subject:changing tempo in a track

i know this might sound an obvious question,but i just got the acid music studio to remix a track,ive added a beat pattern to it but it is too quick for the song,i know how to change the tempo on the whole project but i need to slow down the tempo on the beat pattern to fit it in,any ideas.

Access the particular track's properties and then, under the "stretch" tab, change the number of beats. Double the number to halve the tempo; halve the number to double the tempo.
