If you're upgrading your 6 to 7, you can't sell your version 6, or use it anymore yourself.

Unless I'm mistaken?

dibbkd, Sony allows the original owner to sell and transfer the license to another individual. Once the new ownership is confirmed, the new owner is entitled to support and updates. This has been Sony's policy for at least Vegas 4 through present time.

Yeah but the buyer isnt entitled to use the sold license to upgrade to newer versions. Just make sure you let users know they wont be entitled to upgrading prices or you may come across as a shady business man.

So for example, I bought Vegas 6, then got a free upgrade to Vegas 7.

I can now sell my Vegas 6 on eBay?

They allow access to updates, but not upgrades. Dibbkd, if you got a free FULL VERSION of 7 you could sell your old 6 and they would be able to upgrade it. if you got a free upgrade then they would be able to buy 6, but not upgrade it, they would have to go out and buy a full version new to be able to get upgrades.
