Anyone using Acid with the xp boot on these? Thinking about getting one, as my work is all macs, but I can't live without Acid... Thoughts?

I actually don't know how well it works myself, but I've generally heard good things about Boot Camp.

I've been using Acid Pro 6 with my MackBook (under Windows XP Pro) for about 3 months now and it works great!!! I would highly recommend it to anyone..... Interestingly enough, I haven't experienced any problems with running Acid Pro on it (knock on wood*).

cool, great to hear. Now I have to decide if I want to wait until the 64bit macs come along. Or do they have them? Correct me if I am wrong.

I'm actually getting one in a couple weeks for work myself. We priced a comparably Dell against the Macbook Pro...and the Dell was a few hundred more with similar specs.

I'll be running Final Cut on the Mac side and Acid, SF, Vegas on the XP side. I can't wait.

Mcs got mice with 2 buttons and a scroll wheel yet ?

A pain using any user-freindly app without those - witnessed by (still) trying to use Pagemaker or Photoshop Win versions.....

They have them, but you may have to get one that is a "non-Mac" mouse. I have a Kensignton Blue Tooth mouse w/ a scroll wheel and two buttons and it works great. It's also cheaper than Apple's Mighty Mouse. If you plan to dual format your Mac with Windows XP and OS X, it would be a worth while investment.
