V7 copy/trim improvements?

I've started playing with the demo, but haven't had a chance to test this.

When you hit "Save As" and "Copy Trimmed Media," does V7 keep the camera-original timecode for the trimmed media files or does it discard it like V6 does?

I'd like to be able to recapture just the trimmed files from DV tape using Video Capture. That's hasn't been possible to date. Is it now?

Yes, you can recapture after a copy/trim.
