I can't figure out how to record/ render audio coming in directly from a rewire slave application to AP6. This is not using the rewire for an AP6 midi track synth output, but simply bringing in audio played in the rewire slave. I can hear it and sync it ... but I can't figure out how to record it. I tried to place an audio track in AP6, like 'resampling' in Ableton, but could find no way to route the master audio output to the track. Am I missing something or is this not possible in AP6? Thanx DF |

I believe they're kept separate until you render using either File > Render As or Ctrl+M (which renders to a new track and adds it to the project). Be sure you solo the ReWire device in ACID (using the ! button) so that only the slave device gets rendered. Iacobus |

Iacobus ... Thaxs as always. The problem was I was trying to bring the loops into a new project without any tracks. It wouldn't let me render (it was greyed out in the file menu) until I brought in at least one track and then, as you said, soloed the rewire slave input and recorded it. Thanx again ... DF |
