Subject:More than One SoftSynth Properties Windows?

I was wondering if there's a setting I'm missing in Acid Pro 6.0b that would enable me to have more than one Soft Synth properties windows open at once.

I was working on a song's drum track and wanted to edit the kit I had loaded in my DR-008 drums sampler. I know that in other hosts where you can see more than one soft synth editing windows, you can have two instances of DR-008 open with different kits loaded and you can drag and drop pads between them to add instruments/sounds from one kit into another.

As far as I can see, Acid can only display one Soft Synth properties window at a time (a very annoying limitation if indeed it is so) preventing me from copying sounds from one DR-008 instance to another. If that can be done and I just haven't figured how then I'd appreciate if someone could tell me how. If not then I'll enter an Enhancement Request into the system.

Thanks!

You’re not missing anything. ACID can’t do it, Vegas can’t do it, Sound Forge can’t do it, and it’s a major PITA when trying to copy or compare settings from one synth or plug-in to another. This would be a great enhancement to the entire Sony Media Software lineup. Definitely one for the suggestion box.
