Subject:Copy and Past From Acid to Vegas or Others

I've noticed that if I open up two seperate instances of Acid 6, I can copy and paste tracks freely between them. I assume the same is in Vegas 6, but is it possible to copy and paste between Acid and Vegas?

My main reason is so that I can save some acid projects as txt files - is there any way to do this??

thanks,
R

As far as I know it is impossible.

I've spent a good part of tonight trying to get a number of my edits moved over from Vegas to Acid. I have to do it all manually.

Grrr...

I'm about ready to reverse engineer the ACD format and write my own EDL to ACD converter.

hmph

well, I do hope it comes soon ... it is mind boggling that these programs can't talk to each other

I recently purchased 15 copies of music studio and movie studio for my computer lab (at work), and one of the 'selling points' was "seemless integration" I have yet to see any integration whatsoever with them ...

So please pleas PLEASE sony ... make your apps talk to each other! your users will thank you!
