Hi, i didn't know were to post this because my problem deals with MIDI rather than ACID itself, but anyway, here it is : i have a midi keyboard that i connect to my SB Audigy 4 sound card. When i use the USB connection, it works perfectly but i had crashes in ACID when trying to record something so i decided to switch to the MIDI connection (which my SB card DOES supports). The problem i have with the MIDI connection is that i don't constantly hear the sound from my keyboard when i play the same note !!! for example when i play a G note on my keyboard the sound i hear is a G, and if i repeat playing this note for some reason the sounds is now a Eb rather distorted !! if i keep on playing the note, sometimes the note is a G, which is supposed to be the right note, and some other times it's just this crappy Eb ....and it does this for every two or three notes on the keyboard !!!!! I can't figure it out. I dunno where it comes from and i have the same problem with ANY midi host.....i assume my keyboard (midistudio 2) is working and so is supposed to be my SB Audigy 4. Did somebody faced the same problem ?? Please help... thanks in advance cheers Message last edited on8/27/2006 6:24:31 AM bycarmellose sodique. |

Could be a driver problem with the Audigy 4, especially if it's happening in any MIDI host. Have you tried contacting Creative? Iacobus |
