Is there a way of setting up acid so when you hit record it creates a new track with Input Monitoring enabled? When I click record it creates a new track, but I can't hear my input and have to stop the recording and turn on Input Monitoring. Any help would be appreciated! Cheers... |

Try right clicking in the Track header field and select "Default Track Properties" ( I am not at my DAW, ATM, I think that is what it is called). From there you can set up your default track properties (including input monitoring). Cheers, Billy Buck |

Thanks for the quick reponse, but when I looked in Default Track Properties input monitoring was checked, however, when I added a track to try it, I didn't hear anything till I switched input monitoring on, pretty bizarre. |

I think you messed up the steps. Open a empty acid project. Add a audio trk. Now modify it the way you want it to open up every time. How big...pan law...any fx...input monitoring set to either "on" or "auto". When your done THEN right click and choose the "set default track properties" and then click ok. Now add another audio trk...This should open up exactly how you wanted it. I use acid with guitar rig 2 in this manner and it works great. Ed. |
