Is there a plug in or a tool that will allow this type of automated compression / limiting processing? The process that I would be following is I would run track statistics to find the RMS volume for each track and then run each track through a limiter to match the track RMS volume to a preset standard. Is there a way to batch process now in Sound Forge? Does Soundforge do any automation? If so, what versions support this? Any third party software? Do I need to write a script for this? And you can Normalize several hundred files to the same RMS level using Batch converter. (on the Tools menu). There is no need to write a script that I can see at this point. tj
