I'm getting some unwanted, sporadic noise when I try to use A.Mirror in SF8b, which does not occur when I use it in CDA. It seems to be a problem with just A.Mirror (I use Perfect Space with no problem), and it occurs at all quality settings. I just downloaded 'd', but have not installed, anyone think that this might help? Thanks for any advice!! Milt. |

AM uses lots of CPU which often causes noise on playback but this should not happen when a file is rendered. |

You can preview the sound on a lower efficiency CPU setting and then change the settings to max and process/render the file there should be no problems - This is the same as Roomworks in Cubase SX, Altiverb etc convolution reverbs eat CPU power for breakfast- you need a mighty computer to runt hose effects in real-time, my PC is capable of it but I still usually apply the process offline having previewed it first. |
