hi. can anyone clue me in on whether acid 6 can let you fade volume in and out after recording tracks in real time? i've got a project with several vocal tracks that need to be tamed, and the whole point envelope system just is not cutting it. thanks in advance for the help! |

Yes, you should be able to do this using ACID Pro 6's various track automation modes. Activate the tracks "Automation mode" selector, from the track header and select "Automation Write" (Touch or Latch) and during playback, automation will be recorded as you move the track volume and pan sliders. You can select multiple tracks and and all selected tracks will be adjusted from a single track slider (Volume/Pan), in realtime. When you are finished put the tracks into "Automation Read" mode and the sliders will move to your recorded automation. Of course, you can later turn automation to "Off" and regain control over your faders. You can also go back and edit the envelope points later, set fade properties "per" envelope point, flip envelopes, copy an envelope to another track and lock envelopes, as well. Cheers, Billy Buck |
