Subject:Save Twice For ACID properties

I find that when using Sound Forge Audio Studio 8, I need to save a .wav file twice before it "remembers" the ACID properties assigned to it. If I take a wav file, set the ACID properties to 4 beats, save it as a .wav file, and then reopen it, it will have forgotten the ACID properties. But if I now set the ACID properties and save it again over the original, it will remember. Why is this happening? |

I have never had this issue. I wonder if it is something under your Preferences under 'Editing'. I save once as a .wav and it saves anything I have done to it in Sound Forge. |

I have no "Editing" tab within Preferences. Perhaps you're referring to Sound Forge, and not Sound Forge Audio Studio? If anyone (someone from Sony) can solve this problem, I'd appreciate it. |

I'm not able to reproduce the problem you describe in existing files or newly recorded data. When you initially save the file, you may want to verify that the "Save metadata with file" option in the Save As dialog is checked. J. |
