hi from australia I’m a long time acid user and have had great success getting stuff out of my head and guitar and putting it together into something reasonably listenable. However I’ve struck a problem I can’t seem to solve. I’ve lost the smaller mixer view that used to sit to the right of the explorer window. I’ve come to rely on that for quick reference on levels as the pan/volume process in Acid 3 is not good i.e volumes in the left channel are way below the right and make volume balancing a real chore. I plan to upgrade to 6 so hopefully sony redesigned that aspect. Can someone please give me a tip on how to get that mixer window back. Thanks for any help p.s are there many guitar players out there using Acid? |

You most have dragged the browser over it, covering it up..so to speak. Hover the mouse over the right side of the explorer until it turns into a flat line indicating that it is ready to resize the window, then hold down your mouse button and drag it to your left and you can see the mixer. Hope this helps. Riley |

Acid 3?!? I have fond memories of acid pro 3. It was my first version of acid, and I loved it. I now love acid pro 6 a lot more! You'll be pleased when you get it. |

thanks to you guys for the responses. i'll give it a go. yep. acid 3 was my introduction to DAW recording. i was hesitant but no need to be. to go from 4 track tape to gazillion track software blew me away. message to sony though. a fully fledged mixer window in a future acid would be awesome. here's a link to a review from a great australian audio mag: http://www.intelliware.com.au/PDF/Sony/AcidPro6AudioTechnologyMagReview.pdf |
