I seem to have run into a problem recently while recording vocals into 6a. I set up a loop playback to record multiple takes, however the alignment of the individual takes is off - that is to say that recorded material ends up out of sync with the playback - I only see the very end of each clip and have to trawl through the whole take to realign the material so it plays as recorded orginally in the looped region. Am i forgetting something obvious? |

latency go to options/preferences and in the audio devise tab set acid to automatically adjust for hardware latency |

Please fill out your system specs! What audio hardware and driver model are you using? Peter |

> latency 24.0 ms/1064 samples. 24.0 ms is a long latency. Try and get it under 11ms. I run my M-Audio Firewire-410 at 256 samples which gives me 5.0 ms latency. ~jr |

I've had problems in the past with tighter latencies but I'll try and get it down. Thanks. However, as I was not having this clip alignment problem before at those higher latency settings I'm doubtful that the latency is the issue. But, again, thanks. m7 Message last edited on7/29/2006 8:46:06 AM bymartin7. |
