I'm using the digi002 as my sound card for a project I started in ACID Pro. I'm having trouble hearing my vocals as I record them. I'm getting a good vocal signal in ACID (though I think I have the channel gain on 3/4 to get it!), but although the music I'm singing to is loud in the headphones I'm using as monitors, I can barely hear the vocals--if at all, as I sing. What am I doing wrong? Thanks, Rick |

Input monitoring - best to have a read in the Help files. You need a low latency card with ASIO drivers. One popular feature is that you can add an effect such as reverb to make your voice sound richer and possibly encourage a better performance, whilst only the "dry" voice without FX is actually recorded. |

I had turned input monitoring on in ACID. I have the digi002 as my sound card. I was told I could use that as my sound card for the PC I bought exclusively for digital audio. I mean, If I can't monitor my incoming signal while I record, there's no point. You can't sing over a music bed without hearing yourself. Is this a function of settings on the digi002? Will input monitoring all the sudden work well if I select 256 vs 1024? Thanks, Rick |

I don't have my sound card and mixer set up at the moment, so I can't check my settings and patching. Hopefully someone can list the steps to check through in order to hear input monitoring in headphones...... |
