Subject:audio buzz

i have the 5.0 once I record vocals can i go into the chopper window and take out the buz and breathing that I hear. In other words delete what I dont need. i use the eraser but that don't get it all

The general consensus is: Garbage in, garbage out. When you record, it should be as clean as possible. (The best way to ensure this is to use the best equipment you can afford, as well as have a quiet environment to record in.)

With that said, ACID by itself isn't going to help out too much. You can try using the Noise Gate plug-in to automatically mute parts of the recording that go under a certain threshhold.

Plug-ins such as Noise Reduction can help. I'd also highly suggest Sound Forge with its set of audio editing tools.
