Subject:audio buzz Posted by: buckwese Date:7/17/2006 3:28:49 PM i have the 5.0 once I record vocals can i go into the chopper window and take out the buz and breathing that I hear. In other words delete what I dont need. i use the eraser but that don't get it all

(The best way to ensure this is to use the best equipment you can afford, as well as have a quiet environment to record in.) With that said, ACID by itself isn't going to help out too much. You can try using the Noise Gate plug-in to automatically mute parts of the recording that go under a certain threshhold. Plug-ins such as Noise Reduction can help. I'd also highly suggest Sound Forge with its set of audio editing tools. HTH, Iacobus
