Subject:Kompakt in Acid problems Posted by: JCleaver Date:7/4/2006 4:30:09 PM I may be doing something stupid, at least i hope so. At least that way I can correct it! Anyway, I can only get Kompakt to work about 1 out of every 10 times I try. Other soft synths work fine. When i add the kompakt softsynth, I don't get the Kompakt properties most times. Every once in a while I do, and it seems to work. I generally get a generic properties page instead. Also, while I'm here, I can not seem to figure out how to remove a softsynth once added. This one has got to be stupidity on my part. Anyway, thanks in advance. John

I had been adding it in the track properties and getting this problem.. It seems to work fine if added to the mixer panel. Thanks, I had not seen the bus before I discovered the way to get it to work. I have always used Sonar for my midi work, and had not tried Acid until very recently. Mainly to see how Kompakt sounded as it doesn't seem to work for me in other apps. John
