Subject:Transposing MIDI

Quick question: In Acid 4, I used to break down MIDI files to one track per instrument (which Acid 6 does automatically). The individual tracks were listed in Properties as "do not transpose". I'd set 'em (except for drums) to whatever key the original file was, and then I could transpose the whole MIDI file with one click, just as if the MIDI tracks were Acidized loops. It made working with MIDI, and combining MIDI with loops, much easier.

I cannot see any way to do this in Acid 6.

I can pitch shift individual tracks, but that's as brute-force as it gets. Is there a way to set the key for a MIDI track?

Unfortunatly, it was removed from ACID 6. I miss this function a lot because I use to build MIDI loops that I’d reuse in my songs like ACID loops. The good news is, ACID 6 will honor the transpose flag from ACID 5. So I have to keep ACID 5 installed so I can make MIDI loops that transpose. (but MIDI in ACID 5 is so archaic compared to ACID 6 that this has become very painful) :(

Please submit a Product Suggestion to Sony that they bring this feature back in ACID 7.
