Subject:Trouble with Tempo

I created a new ACID Pro 6a project and recorded several tracks of guitar and vocal. No loops. Just my own stuff. When I changed the tempo, not everything changed at the same rate and I got a mess.

What's up with this? I guess I get the bit about loops and my recorded bits moving at different rates when changing tempo, but why when all the tracks are my own?

Thanks,

Rick

Maybe you've created events of two types : loops and one-shots ?
Only loops change with the tempo, not the one-shot events.

By default, any recorded tracks are supposed to be turned into Beatmapped tracks.

Both Loop and Beatmapped track types are stretchable by ACID; One-shot track types are the only ACIDized track type that is not stretched by ACID in any way.

You can ensure that you get the desired track type by going to the "ACID type for recorded audio" option under Options > Preferences > Audio.
