I own acid music studio and when I try to record my guitar there is no sound at all I can anyone help me I use a delta 44 sound card and line 6 tone port ux2 thanks scott |

Djipy, that's just cruel! ;) Scott: How do you have the UX2 connected? Line 6 mentions it has the traditional outputs (S/PDIF and 1/4") and is USB bus-powered but is never clear about if it can record via USB? (It was clearly a nice move that Line 6 makes you register to download the manual—which I am in no mood of doing.) I'm assuming the answer is no. If you have the UX2 connected via 1/4", make sure the Delta 44's corresponding input is not muted and its sliders turned up all the way via its software mixer. Absolutely you can record via USB. It wouldn't be much of an innovation if you couldn't. (It could all be done with software.) |

Have you tried going into Preferences and (on the Audio Device tab) choosing the UX-2 as your input? Do you have the guitar plugged into the proper input--normal or active pick-up? Do you have the proper input selected in the Gearbox software (you would want Instrument)? For that matter, do you have Gearbox running? You should. |
