Soundforge 6.0 crashing at startup -Sound Forge - PC

Subject:Soundforge 6.0 crashing at startup Posted by: SonicClang Date:6/24/2006 10:08:54 AM I haven't upgraded my computer, or touched any settings on my computer, in well over a year. Suddenly when I try starting up Soundforge 6.0, I get the good old "forge6.0 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." This also is happening to Vegas Video 3.0... the exact same thing. I tried repairing the install, but that didn't work. I fully removed Soundorge from my computer and re-installed it, and not even THAT worked. At this point I'm at a loss. I have no idea what's going on.

Every issue with a sony program not starting had to do with terminal services, and that isn't the issue here. It actually isn't just Sound Forge. Vegas Video is crashing too. It's pretty much all my Sony software. It's just suddenly crashing. I uninstalled everything and reinstalled and it's still doing the same thing.
