Subject:Kompakt will not play my samples!

Hi, When I try and load my own samples into Kompakt Sony Acid Pro 6 edition, they show up on the keyboard, I can play the keyboard, the keys depress, yet I can't get any sound from them. No parameters show up either for these samples. All the midi channels are matching. I can play the factory sounds no problem. Volume is up. I have tried Reinstalling both Acid and Kompakt. No luck. |

You can only map a sample to a maximum of one octave in Kompakt. Is it possible that you aren’t playing the key that it’s assigned to? When you drag and drop a sample from the browser, the key you point on the keyboard to turns pink. If you move your mouse up to the back of the key, it will paint more of the octave pink but it won’t go past one octave. When you drop it, the keys will turn green indicating that a sample has been assigned. Is this what you are seeing? If it was only that simple. I am playing on the keys that are mapped with my sample. It shows the color but that is it. When you load a sample the upper perameters (ADSR, LFO, FX) does it show up? Like when you load the Factory Banks? |
