Good Morning all,

After installing Guitar Rig 2, and re-scanning the Vst folder, which never displayed the .dll for Guitar Rig 2, I found the .dll file resting comfortably in the Vst Effects Plugins list. I figured "fine" technically its not a Vst in the sense of painting in midi notes. I inserted a new audio track and in the clicked on "add effect" and put Guitar Rig 2 in the chain. I then arm the track to record my not so stellar guitar track and no audio can be heard. I
set the record inputs to my 7/8 inputs of my Delta 1010LT, which is where all my guitars feed to. Still no sound. Loops on other tracks can be heard. If I jump over to Live 5 and insert Guitar Rig into an audio channel and plug the guitar in, arm the track, I heard the guitar just great. Is there some other routing that I need to do? I am really bad when it comes to understanding busses etc. so if you could, please use the "See Spot Run" method with me in your explainations. Or , if anyone else out there is using Guitar Rig 2, are you having the same problems. Thanks for your help all.

Don

I do have some odd issues with GuitarRig2.. Sometimes when I CTRL-Z an action about this plugin, or sometimes when I just hit play, acid just vanish (no crash windows !!!)...

I'll be more specific as soon as I get my web back at my studio !

Open acid.
add audio track.
add guitar rig 2 to track fx.
Right click on audio track header and go to the pull down menu to "record inputs".
Make sure to select in "input monitoring" either "auto" or "ON".

Now when you arm your audio track to record you will hear your playing through guitar rig as well as all your tweaks to it.

I'm using AP 6.0a build 263 and guitar rig 2.02. No problems so far. Will report back if I find any.

Ed.

Tip:When you have a blank audio track set it up the way you like it. Then save it via:
Right click track header and select "set default track properties". You won't have to select the input monitoring each time anymore among other things. HTH.
