Subject:UNDO after rec audio, where does wav go?

For the first time with ACID 6, I am tracking live audio (acoustic guitar) after doing some MIDI tracks. The MIDI I had just edited would not play back when I hit REC. for the new audio track. I am not sure why that happened, but then its a new program and I feel like I have training wheels bolted to my head. I think I must have somehow disengaged Inline Midi Editing. Anyway, I began cursing into the mic, put the guitar down, and hit stop. I clicked "DONE" recording, saving the audio, because it is important for any studio to have a well-recorded collection of artists cursing. I went back to my MIDI track and for some reason, all the parts were gone. I started Undo-ing until m Midi part appeared again. All seemed fine. So I went looking for the audio track, but the thing is gone. Not in my rec. files folder. So my question is, does UNDO actually go destroy an audio file? |
