GREETINGS EVERYONE! IM COMPLETELY NEW WITH THIS PROGRAM ACID MUSIC STUDIO. I HAVE NO CLUE ON WHAT IM DOING. IM TRYING TO MAKE A MIX TAPE USING THIS PROGRAM. IM TRYING TO BEAT MATCH A DOZEN SONGS. also if you can't beatmatch, you really shouldn't call yourself a DJ.

I'll be helpful and say that you should read the manual...especially the part about the beatmapper.

you've got jokes. that's cute son. and i do know how to beat match clown. it's just this program is confusing considering it's my first time using it. and the manual itself is pretty lame! and so are you.

The Beatmapper allows you to find the tempo of a song and save the tempo information with the song so that ACID can match tempos. Start by beatmapping all of the songs individually. Then drop them all on the ACID timeline and they should all play at the same tempo. If the song maintains a constant tempo this should work. If their tempo drifts then it’s a lot harder to map them and you may need to use another tool like Sound Forge. I have a tutorial on my website about Fixing Tempo Drift in Sound Forge.

There is also a whole chapter dedicated to Beatmapping in the book Instant ACID (I am one of the authors along with Iacobus). It’s very easy reading with two pictures on each page and a Step 1, Step 2, Step 3 method for each topic.
