i recently remembered i had a couple of back issues of future music magazine ( the u.s version ) and there were sony loops on the cover discs.

may/june 2005 : had five 8packs crystal ship,grand national,that old boom bip,eye ten,and ten from nine

july 2005 : had an exclusive industrial strenth set 106 mb

august 2005 : had 66.2 mb of guitars, basses, and keys

september 2005 : had 80.9 mb of r&b,and a brass collection

october 2005 : had a breakbeat speacial of 94.0 mb of drum loops, and basses.

what a bonus did anybody get these too? or had any other magazines given away exclusive acid loops ?

I have quite a few of their CDs - but did you mean these are actual Sony loops?
I don't recall that. But check their copyright / usage legal thing. My impression was these are fine if you listen to your mixes at home, but that's it.
Computer Music mag also sometimes has loops

The US version of that magazine is so crap, it's painful to read and embarrasing to read on the bus, but I'm sure they got permission from Sony to put that handful of loops on their discs.

A JOKE YES BUT THE FREE LOOPS I GOT TO BUILD MY SONY LOOPS COLLECTION WAS COOL . I REALLY DONT LIKE THE UK VERSION THAT MUCH BETTER . BUT I WOULD RATHER READ BOTH BEFORE remix,MUSIC TECH, or scratch . i perfer COMPUTER MUSIC MAGAZINE.
BUT LIKE I SAID I COULDNT PASS UP THE SONY SOUND SERIES LOOPS.

EVEN IF THEY WERE OFFERED IN TEEN BEAT.
