Hello. I was wondering if it is possible to use a script to get an old RegionList that was saved on a file at 120 bpm to now match up with a file that is 110 bpm? Also, is it possible to batch process a bunch of files and have the Region List change names accordingly? Here's what I am trying to accomplish. I have a bunch of drum and percussion loops that were rendered as long files, then I open in Forge and apply RegionList to extract as smaller loops. It would be nice to be able to have a way to take all of these long performance files and then have a script that would call(get) a file to open(.wav), then apply a "template" RegionList, be able to change the names of the regions and then extract them to a new folder as smaller loops. It would be really cool if somehow Forge would be able to know to get a file and, as long as a tempo is inserted into the script, it would line up to new tempos. But the BIGGIE is figuring out how to get all of the files sequentially and then having them outputted to the proper location. I hope I have explained this clearly enough. Thanks to all who respond. luces Message last edited on6/9/2006 9:31:22 AM byluces1. |
