If you play a short sample with Preview in Sony's PitchShift, after about +36 semitones, the playback dies and has to be restarted. This is using MS Sound Mapper. Angels |

Also happens with other high values and short samples. I just managed to get Forge to freeze (not responding) playing with this pitch value (had to kill and restart). I've also noticed the auditioning quitting on me using at least one other effect, but I can't remember which one (haven't repoed yet). Please note that my system is otherwise stable with all other audio softwares in use. FYI A |

Found it: use TrackEQ and enable and disable bypass a few times; the auditioning dies. Can anyone confirm these behaviors? I'd like to make sure they're not system specific. A |

it does this with any of the EQs Parametric, paragraphic,etc... If you enable/disable the bypass you will lose audio until you stop the preview. |

i have problems with real time preview of ANY/ALL plugins if I use anything but the ASIO drivers for my Echo Layla 3G. If the selection is less than about 1/2 second it doesn't work at all. Sony tech support knows about it but it has been kicked back into engineering for a resolution someday, I hope. |

Thanks guys. I was beginning to worry that I was alone with these issues. Guess I'll open a "Technical Support Issue" since there's no easy way to bug report. A |

Well it seems I'm locked out of submitting my tech support query from work: hopefully someone from Sony will read this post in this forum... A |
