Subject:Skipping in Acid 6.0a but not in 5.0

Just updated to 6.0a but still have this issue : At least one project I have that was created in Acid 5 skips or clicks on several tracks in the what sounds like the exact same places every time - it doesn't appear to randomly skip/click. I still have 5.0, so I open it in that and it plays fine. So far it's just this one project, but I haven't had time to try too many others. I doubled the track buffering and I tried re-saving the project with a new filename, but that didn't help. Anyone else have this happen? Message last edited on6/7/2006 9:32:28 PM bydaremo. |

What kind of tracks are they? (Recorded?) At what point do you hear these skips or clicks? During a transition or end points in a loop? Iacobus |

what kind of tracks - not sure what you mean - they're not recorded live, they're just loops or sounds. Well a couple are one shots. Most are recorded off CDs with Sound Forge 6. I hear them in the middle of the loop or one-shot, not at the ends. For instance I have one that is a bit of Japanse dialouge, and it skips about 2/3 of the way through it. It's just a few seconds long. |
