Argh, I've found something I really miss from Vegas in Acid 6: when you edit a clip in Sound Forge, it sends the entire source clip to Sound Forge.

When selecting an event in Acid which is both a copy and a section of a larger event, it would really be useful to have the option of creating a new physical copy of the data and sending that to SoundForge.

Not sure I understand. Whenever I select a (typically recorded) clip and give the "edit in Sound Forge" command, the entire audio (not just the clip of the audio) gets sent to Sound Forge.

Are you looking to edit only a portion of the audio? Use the Chopper.
