04/03/2006 03:05 PM : Sent to customer support For a MIDI track, select "Insert/Remove envelope" and select "Insert Sysex". Do the same again and the menu option becomes "Show Sysex" instead of "Hide Sysex". However, it works fine with pitch bend, aftertouch and program change. 04/06/2006 09:50 AM : Answer from technical support Thanks for writing. This is a known issue and should be resolved in a future update of ACID Pro 6. Sincerely, Marc S. Technical Support However, it's NOT fixed in update 6.0a. |

Yes, this one didn't get addressed. It is a text string issue. The functionality is there, just the menu label is wrong. Annoying, but shouldn't be a show stopper. Is this preventing you from doing something? Peter |

Is this preventing you from doing something? No. However, it's not clean and may cause suspicion about the quality of Acid. In a pro software, accuracy is a must, at every level. This bug was reported to the support, meant to be solved but, in definitive, it has been forgotten. Weird. Message last edited on6/2/2006 12:52:13 AM byDjipy. |

Forgotten? Says who? You're just speculating, nothing more. That fix just might make it in a future update that's all. No one said that AP6 would only get this one update. Version 5 went to 5.0c. Version 4 to 4.0f. I don't think Sony is quite done fixing this version either and, I don't know how it went for 5.0 as I sat that one out, but this first 6.0a fix came out much quicker than I remember 4.0a coming out. |

I don't know how it went for 5.0 as I sat that one out, but this first 6.0a fix came out much quicker than I remember 4.0a coming out. The 5.0a update came out about (5) months after ACID 5's intial release (Nov 2004-March 2005). The ACID 6a update is out, much quicker in comparison. Cheers, Billy Buck |

Not forgotten, just prioritized. The nature of the software developement process. I appreciate what you are saying, but there are always trade-offs that must be made - as distasteful as they can be. I hope this is worst issue that remains. That means ACID 6.0a hit its mark and squashed the big issues. Peter |

Is the cut 'n paste time selection bug fixed too? I just didn't see that mentioned in the changelog....[crosses fingers] Message last edited on6/2/2006 7:04:39 PM byvespesian. |

By that do you mean the "drag and copy events between layers" issue ? If that was included I'd be a happy fellow indeed. ( I've downloaded the update but not installed yet since 6.0 is working fine for me) |

The copy & paste with the time selection tool works perfect!! And beatmapped recorded tracks are also sounding great with no artifacts. Those were the two main bugs that made Pro 6 unusable for me. The program is now solid as a rock and working like a dream (so far). |
