I'm a new ACID MUSIC STUDIO VERSION 6.0a user just begining to understand how this software works, I've been a musican a long time, now this is how I think this works. the system is based on loops", wich you follow to create your own stuff, the kind of music I usually create, most of it are latin rythms, the only thing that needs a loop, it is my percussion section, ( drums ) now can I create my own loops, to follow, everything else, it's one shot recording, any suggestions, will appreciate the help, thank you |

The quickest and easiest way to create a Loop out of your One-shot recordings is to set the Loop Region over the area you want to bounce down (or render to a new track, CTRL+M is the shortcut). Simply solo the track, make it relatively loud without clipping (-6.0 dB is good) then bounce using the shortcut. (Take note that ACID will "ACIDize" your new Loop based on the project's overall tempo and key info. For example, if your project is set at 126 BPM in the key of D, so will your loop be at that tempo and key. When ACIDizing percussive material with no definite pitch, it's best to set the key to, "none," before bouncing.) Still another way to ACIDize is with Sound Forge—the "Studio" version or the full version will do, but note that the full version has a set of tools for the tweak freak (like the Loop Tuner).
