HI IM WANTING TO COMPRESS MY MP3 FOR SMALLER FILES. DOES THIS SOFTWARE DO THIS, IF SO HOW IS IT DONE. IF NOT WHAT IS AVAL...AND THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH FOR EVERYONES HELP IN THE PAST....EDDIE

I'm not an expert, but here is what I know. Focus on the original wav file first and reduce bit rates and sample frequecy. Then convert to MP3. If you have an application like SoundForge, when you save as MP3 you can select the bitstream speed, sample frequecy, and bit depth at the time of save to MP3 format. This allows you to trade off quality for file size. This is the best approach in my experience.

There is no further compression after MP3 and not shure you would want that.

If you just want to save your project as an MP3 file then yes, ACID can do this. Just use File > Render As... and select MP3 Audio as the save type and then select the appropriate template for the bitrate you want to use.

i don't think mp3 export works with capslock on
